This week I once again tried to strech my assignments out over a few days. I would have to say that I failed miserably at this task considering I have done all of my assignments today. I do have some good reasons why I was delayed though. I had some exams this week that I had to study for. Also, at the last minute my boyfriend decided that he wanted to take me out of town for a couple of days. I'm glad I went because he proposed to me and I'm now engaged. So I've had a pretty full week, which left my homework for today.

I did like the assignment of reviewing others work and giving them feedback on it. It let me see what others are doing and compare my work the theirs. I really liked viewing others work. Now I know that I'm at the same place everyone else is.

I also really enjoyed doing the genre's. I was really dreading doing them but once I started working on them I really got into it. I really allowed myself to think like the client. This let me get more into my research because now I feel like it's personal.

My goal for next week is to try once again to strectch my assignments over several days. I guess we'll find out at the end of next week if it worked or not.

This week I set out to make it through another week of CD 315. I once again set the goal of trying to stay on top of my assignments and get them all done before Week 7's assignments come out. However, I was not very successful in this task. Some unforeseen things happened this weekend which enabled me to reach that goal. I'm just glad that I have a lot of time left to do the one assignment that I haven't had time to do yet.

Another goal of mine for the week was to try and stretch my assignments over a couple of days. This is a hard goal for me to reach though because I don't have a lot of time most days. Plus I'm one of those people that when they start something it just about kills them until they finish it. I feel that I'm definitely improving when it comes to this goal. Although, I'm sure Mrs. McComas would still like me to break the assignments down to a few more days. But I plan to keep working toward this goal over the weeks to come.

I did learn some interesting things this week at our class meeting. I've never before used that version of Power Point. That version let me see a few new things like different backgrounds and how to insert images. These things could be very useful when starting to do my own Power Point project. I really enjoyed just playing around on Power Point and just getting a feel for it. It really helped me get a sense of how I'd like to do my project.

The class meeting also helped me to narrow my question down, which was a huge success for me. I have done the other library search with my new question and found some sources I think will be helpful in the future. Overall, I feel as though I got some things accomplished like refining my question and finding some new resources. However, I still feel as though there could be some improvement in my future when it comes to doing my assignments.

Well after completing this week's assignments I have to say that I am quite relieved. This week finally gave me an opportunity to catch up on some assignments from last week that I had been putting off for a while.

My goal for this week was to get caught up so that when week 6 assignments come out I didn't have anything else to worry about. I have to say that I successfully completed my goal. I did however learn a thing or two from the assignments this week. I got a refresher course on power point so that was good.

This week's assignments also helped me to get started on researching my topic. It's a good thing we had to do that because if not I would have put it off until the last minute. So I think it was very helpful that we had to list some sources. That gave me a chance to see what words to use when searching. It also let me see if I'm going to have a hard time finding information on suttering or not. I also found some really good sources when completing this assignment. So that one assignment helped me out a great deal.

Overall, this was an enjoyable week because I didn't feel so stressed out about trying to get all of the assignments done. I think we need to have more weeks like this one.
